Domestic Gate Safety
Safety is paramount for us here at Westcountry Group to comply with the latest and most updated legislations. We work to the laws provided by Gate Safe. All domestic installs must be installed with the appropriate safety devices, the main two examples of this are photocells and rubber safety edges.
Photocells are sensors that will prevent the gates from closing once they are being activated by a person or vehicle. 2 sets are required where automatic gate closure is applied. Safety edges are then fitted to the appropriate edges of the gate where needed, once minimal pressure is applied to these the gate will then immediately stop, these are a must when potential crushing and trap points occur.
